We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Manager with NextGen, no- fault and worker’s compensation payer experience to lead and optimize the revenue cycle department.
What would I be doing?
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Cycle
• Coordinate day to day revenue cycle functions
o Retrieve surgical documentation and manage op-reports for coding/billing accuracy
o Monitor charge entry
o Claim submission
o Oversight of overall financial reconciliation of accounts
• Coordinate and supervise pre service revenue cycle processes
o Eligibility
o Pre-cert/authorizations
o Scheduling
Oversee day to day challenges pertaining to Nextgen
• Training of new employees
• Troubleshoot and assist in addressing system issues
• Work with Nextgen to streamline workflow
• Identify areas for continued improvement
Provider Credentialing and Facility Privileges
• Maintain accurate data for provider credentialing and facility privileges.
• Complete initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications, following up on pending applications.
• Track license and certification renewals to ensure all providers are compliant.
• Manage and address all correspondence with hospitals and facilities and communicate relevant updates to scheduling, billing, and other departments.
Administrative and Miscellaneous Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot issues at various facilities as required.
• Onboard new employees and ensure training on system and revenue cycle processes.
• Prepare monthly financial and performance reports.
• Process accounts payable invoices for approval.
• Address office equipment issues with vendors and ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with law firms to collect outstanding payments.
• Execute other duties and special projects as assigned.
