Seeking a candidate to join a finance group as a Manager of Financial Consolidation. The Corporate Finance Manager is a critical part of the Company’s finance reporting process. Our client is hiring a manager who will be an integral part of a growing team.  The ideal candidate has strong consolidation and reporting knowledge, an analytical mindset, and the ability to multitask in order to effectively manage his or her time across various roles and responsibilities.

 

 

What would I be doing?

  • Serve as a consolidation system (OneStream) administrator including managing user access, chart of accounts, organization chart, account mapping tables and system generated reports
  • Assist in managing the implementation of a new Company wide financial management system, Workday, and the system integrations between Workday and OneStream
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of the Company’s financials to ensure timely and accurate quarterly and annual reporting
  • Partner with cross functional teams on existing processes
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial reports and analysis with a lens of incorporating automation
  • Assist in preparation of various regulatory filings
  • Identify and develop opportunities to enable automated and integrated reporting and visualization through build out of dashboards for use by senior management
  • Assist in driving change in the organization through participation in special projects and ad hoc analyses
  • Develop, update and maintain all documentation related to the financial consolidation process
  • Support finance consolidation systems on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain and monitor effectiveness of internal controls to prevent issues, identify key areas of risk and drive remediation as necessary.

What would make me qualified?

  • Strong knowledge of technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively at all levels within the company
  • Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, Alteryx, Power BI is desired.
  • 5+ years accounting experience in a similar role within the Insurance or Financial Services industries
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint; ability to model and create complex spreadsheets, look up tables, pivot tables, and understand/analyze the results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Systems or related subject
  • CPA preferred
